Descrizione
La scheda GeForce RTX 2060 di NVIDIA è la proposta d'ingresso della famiglia GeForce RTX proposta dall'azienda americana. Introdotta sul mercato nei primi giorni dell'anno 2019, utilizza GPU TU106 ed è ovviamente basata su architettura Turing. Mette a disposizione un totale di 1920 CUDA cores o shading units, abbinate a 120 texture mapping units e 48 ROPs. Nel chip troviamo anche 240 tensor cores e 30 Raytracing cores, specifici per questa tecnica di renderizzazione della scena 3D.
La scheda è dotata di 6 Gbytes di memoria video GDDR6, abbinata alla GPU con un bus a 192bit di ampiezza: la memoria ha frequenza effetia di 14.000MHz, per una bandwidth risultante di 336GB/s, mentre la GPU ha frequenza di base clock di 1.365MHz e valore di boost clock di 1.680MHz.
Il form factor prevede un design a due slot d'ingombro sulla scheda madre, con un singolo connettore di alimentazione a 8 pin. NVIDIA propone la propria Founders Edition mentre i partner produttori hanno sviluppato diversi design anche particolarmente compatti in alcuni casi.
