Dipende da quanto usi 2.4G, i nanoHD sono un po' zoppi su quel fronte comparati al resto dei gen3(sono 2x2 rapportati al 3x3 o 4x4 sugli altri modelli).

Solo per i relè IoT, il resto è tutto a 5GHz.

Unico problema è che i relè sono una trentina, anche se alla fine il traffico generato è poco e nulla, lavorando solo in locale si tratta di un kilobyte al giorno o poco più.

Se è solo per quello non dovresti accorgertene, tieni solo a mente che nanohd ha le staffe mini(tipo lite) quindi se passi a u6 lr devi cambiare staffe(con annessa riforatura)

Ah perché ci sono modelli diversi con la stessa staffa? Quello ormai l'avevo messo in conto...

Oltretutto sto facendo lavori sul soffitto, quindi il discorso era proprio di stuccare i fori vecchi e riverniciare per poi fare i nuovi.

Spero quantomeno che l'entrata del cavo sia nello stesso punto, altrimenti resta scentrato

Visto che si parla di posizionamento, al momento ho un UAP-AC-Pro messo in verticale invece che in orizzontale, a circa 2.5m di altezza:



So che non è la posizione ideale, e considerate che deve coprire "a ventaglio" (non ci sono aree da coprire posteriormente).

Secondo voi, sarebbe più efficace metterlo in orizzontale appoggiato sopra allo stesso armadio?

Le alternative che mi vengono in mente sono un flexhd (messo più in basso) o direttamente dismettere anche USG per UDM (ma non so... l'hanno poi messa la possibilità di modificare il json di configurazione?)

No, va benissimo! Io ho in garage la stessa situazione, ma al contrario di te deve coprire una area piuttosto grossa nella parete posteriore, cosa che fa senza problemi

probabilmente contano sul fatto che raramente usi cavi lunghi con 10gbase-t, over 30m parli di 5w a presa e l'alimentatore di sto coso è da 30w.

Mah, a me era successo con cavi da 3metri su un R430 con NIC Dell (non ricordo da chi fosse prodotta) dotata anche di ventola on-board. Si è brasata la ventola e subito dopo anche la scheda, su due server
