WD PR4100 24TB S.M.A.R.T. error su 2 dischi

CIao a tutti, questa mattina ho ricevuto una bella sorpresa dal mio nas, 2 dei quattro dischi con lucetta rossa e errore smart. Dopo circa 6 anni 24/7h cominciano a battere i quarti, quanto tempo ho per sostituirli? Potrebbe essere solo un errore di lettura dei dati smart o meglio che comincio a comprare 2 WD RED PRO da 6TB?

Attualmente sono in RAID 5 e i dati riesco a leggerli, e mi sto premunendo per ricopiarli fuori dal nas.

E poi pensavo, e se prendessi gli Ironwolf NAS avrei 2 di un tipo e 2 dell'altro, creano problemi?

Sarò cecato ma non vedo errori degni di nota. Il campo ID 200 Multi_Zone_Error_Rate non è critico, e poi son solo tre...

Si infatti, non mi torna molto, comunque per non saper ne leggere ne scrivere, prendo 2 dischi e li sostituisco, poi controllerò i dischi vecchi con cristal disk info montandoli sul pc.

Tuttavia nutro seri dubbi, anche perchè WD sta aggiornando il suo SO sui nas, e molti come me non stanno aggiornando per via della riduzione delle funizioni e delle app supportate. Spero non stiano facendo qualche maialata o peggio che ti facciano cambiare i dischi quando sono ancora perfettamente funzionanti.

Peccato che in tutti i log del nas questo valore non venga mai riportato, tuttavia il nas da il disco come critico.

Count of "unstable" sectors (waiting to be remapped, because of unrecoverable read errors). If an unstable sector is subsequently read successfully, the sector is remapped and this value is decreased. Read errors on a sector will not remap the sector immediately (since the correct value cannot be read and so the value to remap is not known, and also it might become readable later); instead, the drive firmware remembers that the sector needs to be remapped, and will remap it the next time it's written.[59]
However, some drives will not immediately remap such sectors when written; instead the drive will first attempt to write to the problem sector and if the write operation is successful then the sector will be marked good (in this case, the "Reallocation Event Count" (0xC4) will not be increased). Allora quello che mi chiedo è, ma non si può rimappare il settore?

Alla fine ho risolto comprando 2 dischi WD RED PRO da 6TB l'uno e facendo fare il rebuild al nas, tutto perfetto, rebuild fatto perfettamente.

I vecchi dischi avevano entrambe errori il primo quello che vedete in alto il secondo ha dato errori durante la cancellazione settore per settore, altrimenti non dava nulla se non la riallocazione di un settore.

Adesso li uso per cold storage di backup e sono pieni in un cassetto al sicuro.
