anche io l'ho adocchiata proprio perchè ho fatto il tuo stesso ragionamento riguardo l'upgrade... e poi visti i prezzi dei futuri quad core
L'unica cosa che mi frema e la paura di prestazioni molto inferiori rispetto ad altre smobo solo DDR2 proprio a causa della doppia compatibilità DDR2/DDR3. Voi cosa ne pensate? esistono altre modo di altra marca che supportano sia DDR 2 che 3?

ci sono altri produttori di mainboard che hanno deciso di produrre schede che supportino entrambi gli standard DDR2 e 3?
Temo che quasi tutti sceglieranno la strada di supportare o l'una o l'altra, come del resto ha già fatto intendere Asus

credo saranno ottime!!!
ci sono utenti del forum che hanno già avuto modo di provare altre mainboard p35 (soprattutto Asus) e sembrano andare davvero molto bene!! su alcuni siti stanieri ho letto di frequenze oltre i 500Mhz (con una Gigabyte p35 DS3), considerando l'immaturità dei bios credo siano risultati di tutto rispetto

a quanto pare regge i 525mhz di bus e a differenza del P965 (se non erro) supporta la modalità in asincrono per le ram a 1066...
