Ho esposto al support il problema ed ho avuto la prima risposta:

Thank you very much for your valuable feedback!
On the latest firmware version, we do have the time synchronization function. However, to make this function to work fine, you need to notice that it can synchronize the time on your router only when you are on the Internet.
So, after you reboot the modem, it can’t access the Internet immediately, so it can’t synchronize immediately and you can’t see the time update immediately.
If you have noticed this point, and you do wait for a moment after you reboot the modem. However, you still find the time synchronize failed. Would you please send us the screenshots in Internet Time menu before and after you reboot the modem? We need these screenshots to identify the problem.

Chiaramente ho riscritto una seconda mail allegando 7 screenshots, in cui facevo vedere che non si sincronizzava neanche aspettando qualche ora
, aggiungendo che avevo una connessione flat, con il modem sempre collegato ad internet.
In effetti ho notato che neanche prima del reboot ottengo un sync scegliendo
la sincronizzazione con i Time server.
L'unico modo per avere l'ora corretta è forzare il sync con il PC.
Ma al reboot si perde e si setta il 1 JAN 2000.
Il problema è che nel log la data è errata.
Attendo la risposta a questa mail e poi vi faccio sapere.
