Microsoft ha reso disponibili in Italia i due abbonamenti Xbox Game Pass Ultimate e Xbox Game Pass per PC.

L’abbonamento Xbox Game Pass PC Games consente di avere accesso illimitato a oltre 100 giochi dal vostro PC con Windows 10 a un prezzo mensile ridotto. Ogni mese vengono aggiunti e rimossi nuovi videogiochi che è possibile giocare gratuitamente, pagando soltanto il prezzo dell’abbonamento. Inoltre, è possibile ricevere sconti esclusivi fino al 20 % sui giochi e add-on del catalogo. Al momento Xbox Game Pass PC Games è indicato sul Microsoft Store come Beta.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, invece, oltre all’accesso illimitato a 100 giochi per PC e Xbox, include Xbox Game Pass e Xbox Live Gold in un’unica sottoscrizione mensile. Entrambi gli abbonamenti sono disponibili in Italia al prezzo speciale di 1 € al mese.

acquistando l'Ultimate a 1 euro si trasforma automaticamente la validità restante dell'abbonamento di cui si è in possesso (ad esempio il Gold) in Ultimate che racchiude come detto i tre abbonamenti preesistenti ma questo avviene per tutta la durata residua dell'abbonamento di cui si è in possesso.
TIPOLOGIA DI ABBONAMENTI
xbox game pass pc: primo mese 1 euro, a seguire 3,99 --> non comprende xbox Live Gold
xbox game pass ultimate pc: primo mese 1 euro, a seguire 12,99 --> comprende xbox Live Gold
secondo alcuni utenti prossimamente si passerà da 3,99 a 9,99 per il game pass "standard". Ancora non si sa nulla a riguardo, anche se sembra un'ipotesi plausibile
AGGIORNAMENTO:
dal 17/09/20 l'abbonamento passerà da 3,99 a 9,99
chi ha il rinnovo attivo prima di tale data pagherà l'ultimo mese a 3,99 e poi 9,99
Il client per windows 10 uscirà dalla beta a settembre 2020, così come l'app per Android. Ci sono stati diversi aggiornamenti delle due applicazioni, ma ancora siamo molto lontani dall'avere un client funzionale e completo. A mio parere l'app Android è abbastanza inutile, ma comunque gli aggiornamenti sono abbastanza frequenti, quindi potrebbe migliorare in futuro.
Risoluzione problemi
Per chi ha problemi nell'installazione e/o far partire i giochi, potrebbe essere un problema con l'app "servizi di gioco"

EA PLAY
Dal 18/03/21 il servizio EA Play è integrato in Xbox Gamepass. Ciò vuol dire che si possono giocare i giochi EA, previa installazione del client EA (Origin). EA Play garantisce l'accesso ai nuovi giochi (come Battlefield 2042) per 10 ore, dopo di che per continuare è necessario l'abbonamento EA Play Pro, non compreso nel Gamepass (va acquistato a parte)
