Si può provare sicuramente, l'esito positivo può variare da titolo a titolo
Swapping DLSS 2.1.19.0 with DLSS 2.2.6.0 & running the game on 'Performance' mode not only fixed the noisy checkboard artifacts but also significantly reduced the dark trails around the streetlamps and the auto-paver.
The resultant IQ has overall improved and the sample from the DLSS 2.2 Performance mode looks almost comparable to the DLSS 2.1.19.0 Quality mode without any performance loss. (+/- 1-2 fps lies within a margin of error)
