"First, you need to know that Asus (and other vendors) has a setting in BIOS that will run all cores of CPU to their maximum Turbo Boost Max 3.0 speed, so just by enabling that option, you’ll have the first step in overclocking.
Intel Core i7-7820X has a maximum clock of 4.5GHz only for 2 cores (Turbo Boost Max 3.0), but that setting will raise all cores to that speed, offering some more performance in a sec."
