AMD ha dichiarato che il socket AM4 rimarrā in uso per diverso tempo. Sicuramente fino all'arrivo delle DDR5.
Di conseguenza le APU Raven Ridge funzioneranno su AM4 (diverse schede madri hanno un'uscita video nonostante nessuna CPU attuale abbia VGA integrata proprio per poter accogliere le future APU)
