secondo voi una 6790 va meno di una 7770 e la 6850 e' un po' pi' veloce ?
Andare a spendere 150 euro per una 7770 solo perche' e' un prodotto nuovo quando con 120 euro compro una 6850 che va piu' che bene x quello che ci devo fare io nn so quanto mi convenga.

A comprare ADESSO una HD7xxx sicuramente non fai un affare sul rapporto prezzo prestazioni.... però la scimmia avanza sempre sulla spalla, il top di gamma è ovviamente più veloce del vecchio top di gamma e chi vuole fare un mediacenter a basso consumo/rumore/calore trae sicuramente beneficio dai 28nm.....

si questo e' vero, ma di schede ancora piu' piccole della 7770 non si sa nulla ? Ad esempio deve uscire una 7750 ?

Iscritto in attesa di informazioni sulle nuove VGA di classe media che non costringano l'utente a svenarsi...:D

se le 7870 andranno realmente più delle 6950 al costo di 250 euro circa,saranno le migliori sclelte per il semplice fuul hd.da considerare i consumi,temperature e rumorosita di queste nuove soluzioni reference,si spera che con il nuovo pp di 28 nanometri siano da subito appetibili anche senza dissipatori particolarmente efficienti.le caratteristiche definitive della serie 7000 verranno dichiarate tutte il 9?

Apparently, HD 7670 OEM isn't the only product that couldn't survive the prying eyes of the media, there are more. AMD's lineup of HD 7000 series OEM solutions extends downwards way beyond the HD 7670 OEM, it includes HD 7570, HD 7470, HD 7450, and HD 7350. There's no reason to cheer, though. First, these products are available only in the OEM channels, to pre-built system manufacturers so they could spice their specs sheets up; and second, they're complete re-brands of previous generation HD 6500, 6400, and 6300 families, down to the clock speeds and feature-sets. There are absolutely no HD 7000 series features, no DirectX 11.1, ZeroCore, new media-processing capabilities, nothing. The fineprint of their specifications is tabled below. Forse per marzo cambio il mio envy 17 con 5850...

mi sa che la mia scheda a sto giro è la 7870, le 7900 costano un rene, al limite faccio un cross di 7800 in 2 tempi

E di questi tempi, poter disporre di un rene in più per far fronte a crisi di liquidità non è elemento marginale...

Al CES AMD ha mostrato Pitcairn mobile single e crossfire, la gpu che in versione desktop andrà nelle 7800 avrà frequenze superiori a Tahiti: http://www.hardware.fr/news/12079/ce...n-hd-7870.html . IMO 1 Ghz è molto realistico

AMD is preparing to release the second GCN-based SKU, Radeon HD 7950 on January 31st. Unlike the HD 7970 Dec 22nd paper launch, this should be a hard release with retail availability, slipping in under the HD 7970 with an expected retail price of $449.

Radeon HD 7950, as it's name suggests is a harvested Tahiti chip with 28 CUs enabled, for a total of 1792 SP and 112 TMU. However, all memory channels are enabled and the 384-bit interface will drive 3GB GDDR5 memory. A cheaper 1.5 GB variant is also expected in the future. Clock speeds and performance are not known yet, but judging by the general specifications and price, it should end up edging out the GTX 580.

Following HD 7950, both Pitcairn / HD 7800 and flagship dual-Tahiti New Zealand are expected to release in February/March 2012. Interestingly, Fudzilla also report that NVIDIA is planning to release its first Kepler GPU - GK104 - around the same time.


se il prezzo su strada sarà di 450€, di cui dubito, sopratutto dopo un brevissimo periodo 10gg credo si potrebbe assestare sui 300/350€ cmq troppi (non in assoluto) ma per quello che devo fare ed ottenere in questo momento, lato gpu.

We’re still fighting our way through the insanity that is the annual Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas, but wanted to take a break to share some more juicy news with you all. We just got out of a meeting with the folks at AMD in which they showed us some current and future APU offerings, new I/O technology, and provided a bit of info regarding upcoming Radeon HD 7000M series graphics processors.

First up we have a video showing an upcoming Trinity APU in action. We don’t want to give away the “ah ha” moment in the video, but what’s interesting—along with the actual demo—is that AMD already has Trinity up and running, and running well as you’ll see. Particulars like clock speeds and the GPU configuration weren’t disclosed, but we can tell you that the Trinity APU in the notebook used during the demo was a 17w variant, and as AMD has already disclosed, the Trinity APU sports quad Piledriver cores, an update to Bulldozer that should offer better performance though not only architectural enhancements but frequency increases as well.

In a backroom session in which we weren’t able to snap any photos, AMD also showed us some interesting I/O technology, currently codenamed “Lightning Bolt” (not to be confused with Intel’s Thunderbolt). With Lightning Bolt, AMD aims to offer the ultimate docking station of sorts for AMD-based mobile devices. Using a $40-ish hub, users will be able to connect a single DisplayPort 1.2 cable to a mobile PC to not only charge the system, but to connect it to up to four external displays and multiple external USB 3.0 devices.

In another backdoor session, we also got a chance to see a number of Radeon HD 7000M series GPUs up and running. As has already been disclosed, the first wave of Radeon HD 7000M GPUs will be 40nm parts based on the AMD’s VLIW5 architecture, like the existing Radeon HD 6000M series parts. But we also saw a couple of new, 28nm mobile GPUs (running in both standalone and CrossFire configurations) based on the Pitcairn asic that feature AMD’s Graphics Core Next, which debuted in the Radeon HD 7970.

AMD also had a number of other devices on hand running various Oses and apps. They showed an alpha version of a Metro-style AMD Vision Control Center, running on a Windows 8 tablet streaming video to an HDTV. AMD also had a beta version of the Blue-Stacks Android App player running on a Windows 8-based PC. If you’re unfamiliar with BlueStacks, it gives users the ability to run Android apps on a Windows PC in a virtualized Android environment, and with the Windows 8 beta version, users can simply add shortcuts to the Metro interface to directly launch the apps.

Another very cool demo in the AMD booth featured an MSI-built, AMD-based tablet PC running Android 4, Ice Cream Sandwich. The 10-inch MSI WindPad used in the demo was outfitted with an AMD Z-Series Z-01 (1.0GHz) CPU, 4GB of DDR3 Memory, and Radeon HD 6250-series graphics. As you’ll see in the video, ICS ran well on the tablet and was smooth and responsive. Although still an early alpha that wasn’t fully functional, hardware acceleration was working, as is evidenced by the silky smooth graphics and scrolling.

...parto da presupposto che la mia scheda grafica in scatola è una 8400 gs della zotac presa 5 anni fa...:D

Non sono un videogiocatore incallito e non ho sconsolle:D
Tuttavia qualche gioco ogni tanto ci scappa, serie come fallout 3 e altri pezzi da 90 (mi deve attizzare la storia però:O )..

Ora sono con l'integrata di una asus p8h61 e il resto è un i 3 2130 e 4 gb di ram
Visto che le finanze in questo periodo sono...:sofico: e...la scimmia dell'adolescente h sotto i 30 anni...si fa viva:eek::)
Non voglio esagerare però.
Avevo chiesto nella sezione per i consigli e mi era stata consigliata una 6850 credo scheda onesta leggendo qua e la e dalla cifra abbordabile.

Il dubbio però ora è attendo la corrispettiva versione 7xxx o prendo la 6850 e spero di star tranquillo per un pò?
L'idea che dovrebbero consumare qualcosa in meno mi alletta..:p

Dipende se vuoi comprare ora o se vuoi aspettare.
Per la 7770, supponendo che sarà comparabile come prestazioni alla 6850, bisognerà aspettare marzo per vederla disponibile in volumi. :)

Vorrei sostituire la mia HD5670 con la HD7770, secondo voi quanto è l'aumento prestazionale ? Ne vale la pena ?

Perchè giocando FullHD con la mia HD5670 alcuni giochi faticano, devo togliere tutti i filtri per farli andare senza scatti.

finchè non esce non è possibile fare paragoni. Se tutto va come previsto dovrebbe valerne la pena perchè il guadagno prestazionale sarebbe molto alto, tuttavia si sta pur sempre parlando sulla base di rumors...
