Credo che Fede87 dica che ogni volta che consegna una 1 UW le statistiche dicono che ne ha inviate 10.
Oltre che prima faceva solo 80 punti a consegna ora trai 100 e i 200. Cmq è strano il fatto delle 10UW, io ricordo che era 1 alla volta, non credo che la nuova serie di GPU ATI ne elabori 10 alla volta, ma tutto è possibile nella vita. |

Forse devo rinstallare folding dato che è lo stesso che usavo con la nvidia, oppure c'è qualche problema.L'unica mia preoccupazione è che magari funzionando cosi nn do il mio contributo. ps:cmq per me la 4850 mi sembra piu veloce delle 8800 anche su folding anche perchè le wu me le fa in pochissimo tempo |
ho un problema con F@H, in pratica da quando ho concluso la 18ina WU mi dice Could not connect to Work Server, non invia i dati e si mette a completare un'altra WU, è la terza volta che mi succede ( rimango sempre a 18 WU al posto di 20/21 WU ) ... cosa devo fare?

per questo progetto che gpu consigliate sulla fascia di prezzo dei 100/120 euro?
Attualmente l'unica gpu che ho sui pc è una banalissima 8600gt, credo non basti a fare chissà cosa (montata su un q6600@3gz). |

1)Le wu tra nvidia e ati sono diverse, un eventuale paragone NON si può fare, è come paragonare mele e pere, sono diverse quindi niente 2)Ci credo che ti danno l'impressione di durar poco, manco le inizia... 3)Dal log file come vedi c'è qualche WU che comincia con la percentuale e prosegue tranquillamente, molte altre invece danno mdrun -1 e poi EARLY UNIT END il che significa errore, quindi chiude e scarica un'altra WU, e vedo che tante han dato errore...tranne finalmente l'ultima che va bene (e vedi che poi la riprende ogni volta che riavvii folding) Boh, non so perchè... una WU che nemmeno viene cominciata, boh, ci sono vari motivi... magari qualcosa che stavi facendo in quel periodo, qualche gioco boh.. @Leon87: boh... posta anche te file log perchè se si mette a completare qualcosa...qualcosa c'è :D @Aut0maN: boh...per le ATI una 3870 direi, per le nvidia qualcosa sullo stesso prezzo... :D |

@Leon87: ok, dice che non riesce collegarsi al server, mò bisogna vedere se è colpa loro o tua...se prima ti andava bene non vedo perchè dovrebbe essere colpa tua...hai modificato firewall/porte? Magari reinstalla, tentar non nuoce :D

Fede87 io ti consiglio di andare sul sicuo, togli il client GPU, istalla I nuovo driver ati usciti da poco, ristarla il client GPU e fagli fare 2 o 3 UW per intero senza giocare per il momento, poi inviaci il file log è vediamo che succede, poi se tutto va come deve andare, facciamo l' esperimento di foldare mentre giochi, rinvi di nuovo il file log è tiriamo definitivamente le conclusioni sul problema in modo definitivo.
