Radeon HD 7770 is based on Cape Verde XT core which is 164 square millimeters in size. It features 896 stream processors and 56 texture units. It also has 16 raster operating units. It is build to work with 2GB of 128bit GDDR5 memory. Reference clock is set to 1 GHz, while memory is clocked at 1375 MHz. The card is supporting DirectX 11.1 and is PCI-Express 3.0 compiliant. It requires one 6pin power connector which will provide 90-100 Wats of power. We have also first leaked benchmarks of Radeon HD 7770. The card was tested on Core i5 3550K with 8.940 RC2 drivers. 3Dmark results 3Dmark06: 18143(SM2.0: 6785, HDR: 8086, CPU: 6390) 3Dmark11 Extreme Preset: X1077 (GPU: 965) 3Dmark11 Performance Preset: P3421 (GPU: 3138) Radeon HD 7770 has around 43% of Radeon HD 7970′s performance. It is comparable to GeForce GTX 560 TI 384 results, slower than Radeon HD 6870 or 5850 though. As you can see, The card features a total of 4 Memory chips resulting in a 128-bit GDDR5 interface and a 2GB memory Buffer. Stream Processor Count and ROPs were not mentioned by the user but looking at our previous reports, A Stream Processor count of 896 and 16 ROPs is expected from the Cape Verde XT chip. The Core clock is maintained at 1Ghz (1.1Ghz BIOS) and memory runs at a frequency of 1125Mhz. The card is DX11.1 and PCI-e 3.0 Compliant and is powered by a single 6 Pin Connector which means TDP nears around a 90W – 100W. Specification is already known, many websites have very detailed reviews. So far we only know that Club3D is preparing their model, which is simply the same reference look. It is under NDA until January 9th which is the official release date. We also learned that ASUS is ready with their TOP model, which has overlocked gpu clock to 1GHz. Radeon HD 7950 3GB & 1.5GB – January & March – $449 According to the latest leaked news, Radeon HD 7950 (Tahiti Pro), will feature gpu clock at 900MHz and memory clock at 1250MHz (5GHz effective). Should consist of 4096 stream processing units and 256 texture rendering processors. Radeon HD 7990 will have up to 64 raster operating units. |
7950

Dal profilo Linkedin di un ingegnere AMD:
http://ca.linkedin.com/in/alexandershternshain Was involved with the latest AMD families of graphic processors starting with Evergreen and Northern Islands (Radeon HD) GPU families, Fusion Architecture (Ontario, Llano, Krishna), and the Southern Islands and Sea Islands GPU families.
