View Full Version : Impossibile scannerizzare con ubuntu

Dopo aver collegato la stampante (MX455 canon) via USB, la funzione di stampa avviene correttamente senza neppure installare alcun software, mentre quando cerco di scannerizzare con simple scan non viene rilevato nessuno scanner dal PC.

Ho installato anche il pacchetto scangearmp ma provando a lanciarlo da terminale per effettuare la scansione mi da lo stesso messaggio di errore del programma integrato con ubuntu:

Purtroppo la mia stampante con scanner sta in rete e non mi ricordo che passaggi ho fatto, per scannerizzare ora uso "Image scan! for Linux" simple scan non mi ha mai funzionato e i miei appunti riportano solo:
iscan
iscan-network-nt
-------------
iscan-data_1.26.0-1_all.deb
iscan_2.29.3-1~usb0.1.ltdl7_i386
iscan-network-nt_1.1.1-1_i386

sudo gedit /etc/sane.d/epkowa.conf
net 192.168.1.150 (qui ho specificato dove sta lo scanner epson)

dal che deduco che devi installare iscan iscan-data e sane
apt-get install sane sane-utils libsane-extras

al comando sane-find-scanner
devi premettere sudo se no ti dice che non hai i permessi, però strano, riispetto a lsusb c'è un device di meno (proprio 001:002 lo scanner).

Fammi sapere se ti bastano le informazioni altrimenti guardo meglio cosa ho installato

Dunque sane lo ha solo aggiornato dicendomi che era già presente, mentre iscan ho visto che è un software specifico per stampanti epson. Ad ogni modo non sono riuscito a trovarlo ne dal sw center ne da synaptic. Come lo installo ?

Ho provato anche a lanciare xsane (altro programma per la scansione) con il comando sudo, ma anche in questo caso lo scanner non è stato rilevato.

Si, solo che lui ha risolto semplicemente lanciando il comando scangearmp da terminale mentre io no :mc:

Si però prima ha installato i driver canon

Ho seguito tutta la procedura ma non è cambiato nulla, questo credo valga per lo scanner portatile canon...

Si però prima ha installato i driver canon

Ho installato la versione più recente supportata dal SW center, cioè la 2.10.1 mi sembra.

Problema risolto, è bastato installare i driver dal sito ufficiale utilizzando la seconda versione più recente anzichè la più recente in assoluto.

A volte bisogna provarle tutte :D
