Compressione gZip

Ho acquistato da poco un hosting linux "classico" su Aruba.. qualcuno mi sa dire se si può e come abilitare la compressione gZip delle pagine?

Aruba non permette grandi configurazioni, potresti provare a modificare il file .htaccess se hai un hosting linux.

Comunque, il posto migliore dove chiedere è il loro forum....
