- unfortunately i've noticed a recent & unwanted behaviour of DV Scheduler since i followed your advices, in chrome browser : it would be great not to have to download the m3u file first, and then click on the file to open mpc-hc (vlc is the same)

Did you try to check this item?

There is no way when selecting a preview mode, to use the time-shift mode neither with mpc-hc nor with vlc.

Did you ever try the specific time-shift-with-VLC mode ?
