I'm a user of DV Scheduler but unfortunately, the author's site is down & there is no more support for it. DV Sched is so powerfull, but there is not so much forums dealing with it.
Recording scheduled tv programs is working fine, but watching live TV is not bearable at all because of lots of artefacts or huge effects of pixelization. Signal is very strong, but i did not get rid of it.
Maybe you can help me with mpc-hc
1 - Could you tell me step by step, how to use mpc-hc instead of VLC. Maybe it's necessary to add user keyword instead of :
$$vlcexe->C:\Program Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe
Something like
$$mpc-hcexe->C:\Program Files (x86)\K-Lite Codec Pack\MPC-HC\mpc-hc.exe
2 - By the way, as you're using a terratec dvb-t usb stick, maybe Totalmedia 3.5 was the native software included in the product. Did you try to use the excellent ArcSoft Codec (i heard that power users managed to) ?
Here you can see the same program through VLC & in channel surf mode
