Cmq il vantaggio di essere scritto in python è che molte persone scrivono codice per desklets (il python è tutto sommato abb semplice), inoltre rispetto a gkrellm è molto più comodo e meno invadente, stanno spiaccicati sullo sfondo e non rompano.
Lo svantaggio è la memoria occupata dall'interprete
